Objectives to be achieved within the scope of the project: to create a perception of digital citizenship in students and the nine dimensions of digital citizenship: (1) digital access, (2) digital commerce, (3) digital communication, (4) digital literacy. (5) dig lal ethics, (6) digital law. (7) digital rights/responsibilities, (8) digital health and (9) digital security, and also raise awareness about the conscious, safe and effective use of the internet.

At the end of this project, students are expected to know what rights they have in digital law, to learn what sanctions they will face for not paying attention to these rights, and to gain a digital citizen responsibility. Because digital citizens are the citizens who can criticise while using information and communication resources, are aware of the ethical consequences of online behaviours, use technology in a way that does not harm others, behave ethically, use the right to communicate on the internet, exhibit the right attitude in their sharing and cooperation, and encourage others in this direction.

Digital citizenship, on the other hand, is expressed in the most general terms as the norms of behaviour in the set of rights and responsibilities regarding the use of technology. In creating this awareness, schools, teachers, school leaders/administrators and experts trained in this field have very important tasks.

The aim of the digiC@M (Digital Citizenship from the Academic Milieu) project is to attract the attention of professionals, to increase students' awareness of digital citizenship and to contribute to social awareness in the digitalised world.
